Join us for an information session overviewing "The Foundations of Democracy: Understanding the Past to Change the Future in Washington, D.C. program. Untangle the roots of our nation's history in Foundations of Democracy.
In order to change the future, we must first understand the past. This program seeks to explore the avenues of power, protest, and propaganda as they relate to the organization of the United States. Students will examine the influences that the media has on the public, which sometimes bridges into propaganda, and consider the efficacy of various forms of communication, including protest and symbols of power.
Spend the end of winter break in the capital city, visiting historic locations and learning from the many museums accessible in Washington, D.C.
