Temple to partner with AtlantiCare to open new medical school campus

Posted

Dear Students and Colleagues,

We are excited to share that we have recently formalized an agreement with AtlantiCare to establish a new regional campus for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Atlantic City, New Jersey. For Temple and the Katz School of Medicine, this is an opportunity to amplify our reach and make a difference while partnering with one of the premier healthcare providers in southeastern New Jersey. We believe that both our students and future patients will be the ultimate beneficiaries of this partnership.

Once open, the AtlantiCare Campus will be the third regional campus for the Katz School of Medicine, joining the St. Luke’s University Health Network Campus in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and the soon-to-open WellSpan Campus in York, Pennsylvania. The AtlantiCare Campus is expected to welcome its first students in August 2029.

Both Temple and the Katz School of Medicine have always been guided by the belief that education and healthcare open doors and transform communities, and that is exactly what we have accomplished in Pennsylvania. With AtlantiCare, we now have the ideal new partner to help us further our impact.

We invite you to learn more about this new partnership in this Temple Now piece.

Sincerely,

John Fry
